So Long SoCal

My final post from the west coast! (until I come back in 3 weeks for the wedding) It has been a sunny and splendid trip with very little phyisical activity. I am not going to lie, I am beyond grateful for Tara's workout Wednesdays. I'm telling you if you have a hard time getting out for a run or going to the gym just plop in front of the tv and spend 15-30 minutes with Tara and her incredible exercises. Literally saved me while I was on vacation.

Yesterday after we got back from Palm Springs I went over to my amazing Gm and Poppy's house for dinner with my family. We went down to the water to hunt for sea kitties (sea lions) and I laid on a dock soaking in the sunshine. I got to see my mommy, grandparents, aunties and uncles and we laughed and laughed while we ate a delicious home cooked meal outside on the patio. Coming home makes me wonder why I left but then I look up and remember how incredible New York is. Staying here would have been easy. The opportunities aren't there. New York is night and day from Southern California and that's why I love it. The energy is faster and the opportunities are infinite. This isn't my home anymore but it's really nice to get away from the city and spend time with everyone I love in the perfect weather I used to take for granted.

Today we went over to Lake Mission Viejo to soak up my last bit of SoCal sun. I also got to play with my favorite rent a baby miss Addison Sage-the world's most fabulous baby girl. There's nothing funner than playing with someone else's baby and then being able to hand it back when you get need a break. But we all had a wonderful time hanging out, catching up, telling jokes, chasing birds and going down slides. I've got some pretty groovy friends.

I am burnt to a crisp. I think my skin has definitely been a casualty this trip and I have a feeling this red eye is going to be quite uncomfortable. But I've got a neck pillow and "Uganda Be Kidding Me" so if I can't sleep at least I'll be peeing my pants laughing with Chelsea Handler.

When I get back I'm hitting the ground running (literally) because WE ARE 2 WEEKS AWAY FROM THE BROOKLYN HALF YALL!!!! So excited!!!!! I'm about to board the plane, see you on the other coast! (I can't believe I'm coming back in 3 weeks. Crazy)
