Its Too Darn Hot

I can't. I just can't. I can't run in this heat. And I can't run on a treadmill! You're damned if you do and your damned if you don't! I've tried waking up early,  running along the water, and nothing helps. It's not so much the heat but the humidity. And seriously it's not fair how much I sweat. I literally see sweat drops fly off my body the second I take off. It's driving me crazy. And I'm always thirsty! Running in the summer sucks. Here's basically how I fell when I go for a run now.

Yeah, yeah it is.

Yeah, yeah it is.

Every mile is a struggle.

Waterworks now is a reference to copious amounts of sweat.

It's unattractive!

It's the truth!

It's like Mordor!

Not a fan.

Running in hot and humid environments sucks. It really sucks. But I've got a marathon to train for! And then trying to juggle vacations/getaways! This was a terrible week for me, I got up to run ONCE!  And tomorrow I'm headed to the mountains for an adventure. I was curious, at what temperature is it too hot to run? It appears the consensus is that anything over 90 degrees you are advised to take it easy. When I went to run on Tuesday, it was 92 and an air quality warning. (I'm all PSHHHH I'm from LA) but it felt disgusting. I was supposed to do intervals and I'm all HA! Not happening. But for more tips on how to beat the heat, CLICK HERE. I can't wait to share Justin's progress with you tomorrow. He looks amazing. Until tomorrow, #RunSelfieRepeat.
