For most runners, we don’t just want to survive, we want to thrive. But we’re shrouded in self doubt and limitations. Maybe you’ve never been athletic and struggle to believe you’re a real runner. You’ve run a 5K but aren’t sure if you can run a half marathon (OF COURSE YOU CAN!) Or you’ve run a half marathon but aren’t sure you have what it takes to make the leap to marathon (YOU CAN.) Or maybe you really want to hit a time goal but don’t think it’s in the cards for you. (YES, IT’S IN THE CARDS FOR YOU! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING.)
What makes my training journals different is that they frame the process in a way that takes everything you’re learning and experiencing in training and gives you a way to work through it on paper. We work through failure, a fear of failure, and perfectionism. We work through self doubt and self limiting factors. We spend weeks unpacking where you’re at mentally, how you see yourself and what you’re capable of, what’s holding you back, and what you’re kicking ass at. And of course, we unpack the hell out of body image.
I’ve spent years chasing seemingly impossible goals and it’s become abundantly clear that the running, though a very important piece of the puzzle, is equally as important as the mental work.
You’re only as strong as you let yourself think you are. We’re capable of so much more!!! My training journals are all about unlocking your potential and seeing yourself for what you are, UNSTOPPABLE.
