It’s been WAY too long since we’ve done this: 🎉CELEBRATION PARTY!!!! Here’s how it works— I don’t think we brag about ourselves or celebrate our #badassladygang enough. SO LETS CELEBRATE THE HELL OUT OF THE BADASS LADIES WHO MOTIVATE AND SUPPORT US!!! Celebrate yourself and brag about something you’re proud of or tag someone who inspires you below and let them know how much they mean to you. Just take a minute to celebrate yourself and your people. Don’t want to comment? Shoot them a text. Or call them. But 5 ladies will win @badassladygang buffs at random for celebrating. KICK ASS. TAKE NAMES. 🤘 #SheCanAndSheDid #ThisIsWhatStrengthLooksLike 📸 @allanzepeda
Don’t call an inability to start lazy. Call it fear. That’s something that blew my f*cking mind when I realized that I’ve always labeled my fear as lazy. It’s easier to sell shame than it is to sell truth. The health industry is built on shame. Whoever let that happen is going to rot in hell but change only happens when you make it happen. So here’s the truth, getting started is scary. It’s scary to tell people you look up to or care about that you’re working towards something you aren’t sure you’re capable of. It’s scary to think that there’s a chance you’ll disappoint them or even worse, yourself. But chasing goals isn’t about the day you make your dream a reality. It’s about the journey. The ups. The downs. The frustration and set backs. All the things you learn in the quiet, lonelier moments. The breakthroughs and triumphs. Looking in the mirror and seeing someone capable of anything instead of a failure. And it only happens when you accept the scary fear of possible failure and start to see that you’re worth it. The only way you fail is if you fail to try. So y’all, #ChooseGo. Choose today. And if you aren’t sure where to start, go download the #BALGBlowup5k training plan or download the Nike Running App and hit start. But don’t wait for the right time to get started. Today is always the day. 🤘🏼 First day back at the track...WISH ME LUCK (But really, pray for me. Terrified y’all. I’M TERRRRRIFIED.) TODAY IS THE DAY. TODAY IS THE DAY. TODAY IS THE DAY. #badassladygang #shecanandshedid #TeamNike #JustDoIt

Literally, I’ve been on my couch for two hours trying to get my lazy ass out the door for an easy 30 minute run. 🤘🏼I cleaned the microwave, watched an episode of 2 Dope Queens, and worked on my taxes. You know when you would rather work on your taxes than go for an easy run that you’re screwed. Then I had a pep talk and was like, “You don’t have to run, you get to run kelly.” To which I was like,”fuck off kelly”. So yeah, I’m talking to myself. Things are going well. #SheCanButSheWont **Dropped my @garminfitness and cracked the screen. TODAY IS MY DAY. Moral of the story, don’t be dramatic and drag your feet about running because the universe will bitch slap you real hard.
And so ends base building. BRING ON HALF MARATHON TRAINING 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼YAAAAAAAAAAAAAABUDDY, let’s do this damn thing. Bring on the doubts, the fears and the painful fun. 😍 I haven’t trained for a half in four years. I literally have no clue what my personal best looks like. TIME TO FIND OUT 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 What do you think my race day goal should be??? My best is 1:42 and change ☠️☠️☠️ OHHHH LORRRRRD AMMMM I A LIL SCARED 🙈🙈🙈 LET TRAINING OFFICIALLY COMMENCE!!!!!! The only way you fail is if you fail to try right?!?! #choosego #TeamNike #badassladygang #shecanandshedid #seriousathletes
HUGE NEWS #BADASSLADYGANG!!! Training plans and journals are FINALLY here!!!! Whether you're training for your first half marathon or marathon or chasing a personal best, seemingly impossible goal, my guided and journals won't just get you to the finish line, they'll redefine the way you see yourself and what you think you’re capable of. After five years in this industry, it blows my mind that plans exist without spending time on the inner game of running. On self efficacy, body image, self limiting factors and redefining how we see ourselves. The journals are between 100-160 pages long 🤯 and I have to say, my heart and soul is in them. If you’re looking to crush a goal, check them out. I hope you love them! Click the link in my bio for more. 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼 KICK ASS. TAKE NAMES. SHOW THE WORLD WHAT STRENGTH LOOKS LIKE. #shecanandshedid
