Hi, Tampa Bay Running Friends!
I’m Leonore (Leo for short), one of your co-leaders. I’m originally from Orlando, and in 2020, I moved back to the Sunshine State after 14 years in New York City. I live near Downtown St. Petersburg, proudly representing the best side…I mean, west side of the Bay for our group. I work in social impact marketing, and when I’m not running, you can find me exploring our many amazing local parks, breweries, and beaches. The Badass Lady Gang is such a special, supportive group, and I hope to see you at a meet up soon!
Hi I’m Allie, one of your co-leaders! I’m originally from a small town in upstate NY. I came to Tampa on vacation at age 21 and I fell in love with the city. So much so that I ended up signing a lease and moving back the next month! Fast forward 17 years and I’m still enjoying every minute.
I started running in 2018 when I trained for a 5K with some friends. Never did I imagine I would go on to run a full marathon in 2021! The BALG community is what helped me stay consistent and set/chase/achieve such a goal!
Aside from running, I am a yogi and avid kayaker. I spend my weekdays working in the foster care system and on the weekends you can catch me out somewhere supporting a local business! Probably buying plants.
